"a princess is a delicate thing..."

Our little family loaded up in the car around 9:30 last Thursday night for a weekend trip to Ohio.  It was a great time to be with our families, and we also got to watch my youngest sister, Cassie, star as Princess Winifred in the high school musical, "Once Upon a Mattress."  It was so fun for us to be there to watch her; I'm so glad we live close enough now (4 1/2 hour drive) to do things like this.  She was phenomenal, really coming out of her shell in the acting department, and her singing voice gave me goosebumps!  Can you tell I'm a proud big sister? :)  Wish I had remembered my camera...

Friday night we ate at Stella Blue with Grandpa Lugbill and Nathan's sister, Lisa.  Here's a picture of Silas with his beloved Aunt Lisa...

We got to visit my Grandma Neva and Great-Grandma Meredith on Saturday.  Here is Silas with his Great-great Grandma...

My sister, Alyssa, and brother, Justin, and his wife, Sara, also came up for the musical.  It was great to spend some extra time with them, chatting and playing some games.  Silas thought Uncle Justin was pretty funny.  We're anxious for them to add to the Beck brood with a little cousin for Silas...Wouldn't that be nice?

And yes, Silas is wearing a dress shirt/sweater with no pants.  It's the latest fashion, of course.  Isn't his hair getting so long and little-boyish?!  Where is my baby?

More pictures to come of our time in Florida, I promise...
