dreaming

I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorites from that special store from which I own nothing but wish I could own everything...

**insert long wistful sigh here**

But there is value in "window shopping!"  Looking around in a store like Anthropologie inspires me.  So many unique and charming pieces all in one place!  It gets me thinking and encourages me to do the legwork to find similar, less expensive items.

I had never been inside an Anthro store until last year.  And let me tell you, if you haven't experienced it, you definitely need to go.  I have NEVER been in a store like that in my life.  The whole thing was this incredible asthetic experience.  If you've been in one you know what I mean...

Here's some wallpaper that would be really fun in a study or a den.  Maybe just on one wall so it doesn't overpower the room?

Okay, not so much diggin the sunset frills on the right, but don't you LOVE the cascading white on the left?  Makes me want to indulge in a hot bubble bath...Of course, the amazing standing tub helps the overall effect.

This gorgeous white pitcher caught my eye...They have lots of different pieces in this pattern.
Do you think me strange for enjoying this vintage-style photo album?  It's only $10!
I was drooling over these recycled tin birdhouses.  How creative!!!

Wow, look at this couch and rug combo.  The textures are fantastic!

Another choice you might think is strange, but I'm telling you I love it!  This would look great in a room with some fuschia, deep teal, or mustard yellow.

I think I would like this lamp even more if it had a colorful shade of some kind.

Love this candle holder so much I got it for our sister, Lisa, for Christmas.

And speaking of Christmas, I almost got this measuring spoons for my mom.  Mom, would you have liked them? :)  I just think they would make me happy every time I measured out my vanilla...

This puzzle is supposed to be for kids, but I would totally display it proudly.  And don't you just want to eat her up?

My last recycled oddity.  Promise.  I could totally see this guy chilling on our bookshelf.

Don't you love the colors of this vintage phone?  It comes in 3 other hues, too.

And I'll end with something I could actually afford...A wall hook for $18.  Very industrious looking with the wire...And the L is one of the few letters still available, in case anyone in the Lugbill family was wondering!

That's all.  Hope you enjoyed.  Are there any other anthro stalkers out there???
