don't you love birthdays??

I got the best birthday presents this year. Nathan got me this great bowl thingy from Ten Thousand Villages, which I LOVE.  He knows I love everything from this particular collection, and I'm sure you could have guessed, too, since it goes with my theme of late: recycled paper.  Haven't found the perfect spot for it yet, but it's going to serve as our "catch all."  You know, cell phones, keys, random other small things.  We need to get better at utilizing it, though, since right now it sits empty. :)

And not to be outdone by his father, take a look at what my little boogernut "gave" me for my birthday!  He started this push-up scooting trick after church on Sunday.  I'm convinced he was just waiting to bust it out on my special day.  This kid's core has got to be amazing.  Watch out, Jillian Michaels!

Our camera stinks, right?  Maybe we should invest in a nicer one...hmm...

I'll be in Florida with the fam next week- promise to post lots of sunny pictures upon my return, so all of you can drool and sigh and resent me. :)
