When one has a baby as charming and handsome as Silas, one can get away with just about anything.

My week in Atlanta went super well...It was exhausting and stressful at times, but the sense of accomplishment we got from pulling it off was well worth it. Silas was a GEM, and my mom was so so helpful in keeping him well-rested and on schedule. It was really fun to reconnect with coworkers I hadn't seen for months; my only regret is that I didn't have more time to chat with them amidst all the craziness of the event.

Within a day or so of our arrival, Silas was the life of the party. He even charmed his way into the professional banquets, which originally would have been a huge no-no. I think it was really great for the staff to have him on hand for a quick little giggle or snuggle; he was therapy for stress and reminded people of life outside of our little bubble. :)
