well, he didn't get that from me.

I'm amazed at how aware Silas is of his surroundings when we are in the car.
  • When we turn onto Frankfort he knows we will go past "Daddy's coffee shop."
  • When we take a certain exit coming home from church he knows we are picking up Little Caesar's for lunch and starts exclaiming, "Pizza!" excitedly.
  • He knows when we're going to Kroger and starts saying "store" as soon as he figures it out. Also, whenever he sees Kroger's logo anywhere he gets really excited. (They should be paying me for this.)
  • When we go downtown he knows we are going to the doctor. (Could be the OB, neurologist, or hematologist...they're all right next to each other.)
As someone who didn't know how to get to Grandma's house or Wal-mart until I got my driver's permit, I can't relate. But I'm glad that the Lugbill genes pulled through on this one.
