I confess that I have been surprised by how much this pregnancy has taken a toll on me. I thought I was just one of those people who has "easy pregnancies" but I'm learning that isn't as true as it used to be. Granted, I still don't throw up at all or even struggle much with nausea, but the fatigue and soreness this time around has been discouraging. Apparently these get worse with each pregnancy, but no one told me this! Ha!
Of course, the fatigue may be partly (mostly?) due to the fact that Silas's sleep patterns have been screwed up ever since Christmas. Thankfully, I think we are through the worst of it, but he has his ups and downs. Sometimes he sleeps all night, but most nights he gets up somewhere between 1 and 5 times and then wakes up EARLY. We have an OK to Wake! clock, which is helpful in teaching him when it's time to get up in the morning, but at this point he still needs to be disciplined many times before the magic green light comes on at 7am. Anyway, our sleep just isn't the same when it's being interrupted all through the night!
Back to baby. The big ultrasound is scheduled for March 29, and I THINK we are going to find out the gender this time! We may do something fun to find out the gender after the actual ultrasound, not sure yet. Will keep you posted. I go back and forth thinking it's a boy one minute and a girl the next!

Your ultrasound is the day after ours! Yay, I'm super excited for both of us!
ReplyDeleteJess, my third pregnancy was definitely the hardest as well! I was just more uncomfortable earlier on and was so ready for the pregnancy to be over by the end (more than with the other 2)... Sorry that you're starting to feel that yourself! It's tough, I know! Hang in there, girl!
ReplyDeleteYes, you get more achey and sore with each pregnancy. :( Praying God gives you the rest and strength you need!
