We decided that Ivy was busy focusing on walking the last month or two, and that's why she hadn't really been adding many words to her vocab. But now that she's got the walking down, she's suddenly taken off again with her talking. Here are the new words she has picked up in the last week or so:
mommy
no (not excited about that one)
milk
water
cracker
more
diaper
Silas
baby
shoe ("shh")
yucky (or rather a sound effect for yucky, hard to explain)
two (whenever she hears me say "one" she yells this out)
It's really fun to watch her grow and change, though it makes me a little sad. Ivy didn't seem to stay in the baby stage for very long; she acts like she is big stuff. Maybe it's the Lord's kindness to us, since we have another baby coming in 5 short months! This fact still startles me when I remember it. :)
