We have been taking full advantage of the weather around here. It seems like we skipped spring and went straight to summer! Saturday we walked to the library for a special St. Patrick's Day story time. Of course, they didn't talk about bringing the gospel to Ireland, they talked about 1) rainbows, 2) the color green, 3) potatoes, and 4) leprechauns. But the kids enjoyed it, what can I say? :)
I thought these pictures were cute because they demonstrate the differences in our kids' personalities. Here is Ivy, the star of the show, "helping" the librarian.
(Must be a dramatic part of the story.)
And there sat our other kid, in rapt attention. Yes, we all wore green.
I wish I would have remembered to take the picture when all the kids were still at the table, but I was sort of busy keeping the busy one-year-old out of the paint.
Silas's masterpiece rainbow. Hasn't quite learned the technique of painting arches yet. :) He has been surprisingly into crafts lately, though he needs LOTS of assistance.
