We watched some fireworks for the 4th in our neighborhood. It was...sort of a disaster. We had fun meeting up with our neighbors and chatting beforehand, but it was unbearably hot and muggy, and Silas was very cranky and tired. The fireworks didn't start until almost 10, and Si was scared to death of them, screaming and crying the whole time. Bad choice, parents. Oh, well. Maybe we'll have better success next year.

We had more success at the park yesterday. Silas loves the swing...and see how straight he's sitting!
Cute shot of Si with his Daddy. Check out his shoes. I sort of hate them. His therapist told me we needed to splurge and get him some sturdy tennis shoes to help him stabilize his feet as he's learning to stand. I had originally picked out these, but she nixed them. I just need to get over it and stop being so vain on my son's behalf!!!
Hmm...I'd like to try that.
And here is Silas' new trick, perhaps my favorite so far. Kissing on command!

Congratulations on your second little one! It's so exciting to find out that your first baby will have someone to play with in the near future. Si and your baby bump are both so cute! (I think the bump comes that early with the second - that's how I was, too.)I hope that doesn't mean it comes even earlier with the third! :) Congrats again!
ReplyDeleteI think your bump is super cute! Mine came super early with Carter. I was in my sisters wedding when I was 13 weeks pregnant, but was trying not to tell anyone until after her wedding...kinda hard when you pop the second you get pregnant w/ baby #2 :) Love reading these updates!

ReplyDeleteYour family is so stinkin cute! I love reading your updates. I was in maternity clothes by 10 weeks with Jerek!! I measured like I was having twins the whole time, my mom even brought a little girl outfit to his birth, *just in case*.
