We've loved the month of May here in Louisville! Having my husband all to myself every evening with no books to take him away from me has been GLORIOUS. And we've been able to do some fun things as a family as a result.
Last week we took a walk to the local park, played for a while on the swings (yes, both Silas and myself enjoyed some good stomach-dropping swinging), and then Nathan and I sipped on some sodas and talked while Si played in the grass. Sound dreamy? I agree.
On a rainier evening, we headed over to the Speed Art Museum (thanks for the recommendation, Andrea!) and enjoyed looking at portraits and glassworks...Silas was more into his graham crackers.
And this past Saturday, we drove to Upland, IN to celebrate my brother's graduation from college. We were happy to rejoice with him and to have an excuse to spend time with my family.
