worth it.

As I pushed the umbrella stroller uphill (huffing and puffing) in the crazy downtown of L-ville after a long day of pediatrician-meeting-DC-friends-for-lunch-grocery-store-bathroom-cleaning-cookie-baking-clothes-washing-meeting-Portland-friends-for-dinner-LOTS-of-disciplining...I wondered if it would be WORTH IT.

But with tears streaming down my face listening to thousands of voices singing/shouting lines like "and as he stands in victory sin's curse has lost its grip on me!" and "because the sinless Savior died my sinful soul is counted free! for God the just is satisfied to look on him and pardon me!" I stopped wondering.

Silas was delighted that the first three songs we sang at T4G were ones he knew by heart: Holy Holy Holy, Before the Throne, and In Christ Alone. How kind of the Lord to arrange that for our sweet little toddler.

I'm about to listen to Matt Chandler's talk online as I fold laundry. You can find all the talks here.
