Have I told you all how much I love Southern Seminary? And Fall Festival might just be my favorite thing ever. This year's theme was Narnia.
The anticipation climbing the stairs...
At King's Cross Station we were welcomed by none other than our beloved elder, Bruce Keisling.
Silas is not sure about this train conductor.
How cool is this...we entered Narnia through a "wardrobe." See the fur coats?
And here is the wintry sight that awaited us.
Queen Lucy was charming, with a perfect British accent.
Silas wants to be like King Peter when he grows up.
Family shot.
Mr. Tumnus was scarier to Silas than the White Witch.
She kept calling Silas her "young warrior." Creepy.
Horses were a big hit with the kid.
They had a joust for the Last Battle.
We had free Chick-fil-A for dinner, along with some Narnian treats. I didn't touch the Turkish Delight (gross) but King Edmond's Sugar Cakes were YUM.
Thanks, Southern, for another unforgettable night! Maybe we can come back next year as alum. :)
Hahaha, you crack me up, Jess. :) I love your face with the witch - and it looks like Ivy is making a face, too. Cute little family. :)
