pickles, newspaper, and a green gorilla

Some things we've been up to lately...

Lynn's Paradise Cafe is apparently a big "Louisville thing," but I had not yet been there.  My good friend Maghan and I went out last Friday and had so much fun.  The decor was crazy gaudy, which is guess is cool, supposedly...?  Silas isn't so sure.

And takes his coloring very seriously.

But Miss Maghan is pretty fun...

...because she does things like feed him pickes.

The next day, Maghan and I babysate our friend's little boy, Reeves.  I got to try out my Phil & Teds Doubles Kit when we went to the park; it worked great!  Have I mentioned how much I love my stroller?

This past weekend we went downtown to do the free trolley hop (with Matt and Maghan- girl, you are getting some serious face time in this post) and checked out some local galleries and shops.  We had to get our picture in front of the bat, even though we didn't actually go to the Louisville Slugger Museum...

Silas tried some "Vanilla Bourbon" gelato.  He couldn't get enough.  Yum.
