not much action

I know it's been a while since we posted, but it's because there isn't much news to give. We went to the doctor today, and I am still just 1 cm dilated. The baby's head has dropped quite a bit lower than it was last week, though. The midwife said everything looks really good. I've been feeling a lot more tired the last several days and feel like I'm sleeping my life away. Also feeling rather unmotivated to get anything done around the house. I'm so glad we are all prepared for Junior so I don't have much to do! I've been having contractions off and on, not painful ones usually. I've been walking a lot with my CHBC friend, Meredith. Hopefully that is helping to prepare my body for labor! We are trying to stay busy and take advantage of this time we have together. Saturday we went to Barnes & Noble for coffee and played a rousing game of Scrabble. (Nathan won handily, and I was really annoyed about that.) It was nice to get off the hill together. I headed up a baby shower for my friend Kate on Sunday, and we hope to have people over for dinner tomorrow night. So we aren't just sitting around waiting, but it is still getting hard to be patient! Please continue to pray for us...We will keep you updated!
