pie kitchen

Never fear, my dear husband's birthday didn't get completely lost in all the excitement over Ivy.  Maybe slightly overshadowed...but I did my best to make him feel special.  He really wanted to visit a Louisville staple, the Homemade Ice Cream and Pie Kitchen, to celebrate as a family.  The menu?  Apple pie with carmel for Nathan (a la mode), cherry pie for me (also a la mode) and birthday cake kiddie scoop of ice cream for Silas.  We decided Ivy wouldn't miss the ice cream, since she snoozed through the entire celebration.
