Silas came to the hospital on Sunday night (Feb. 5) to meet his new sister. My mom had just arrived in Louisville to stay with us, so she brought him for his first introduction. He was charmed at first, pointing and smiling, but he soon lost interest and was more excited about opening and closing the closet door. Below are a couple of very sweet videos of their very first encounter.
I love the expressions on his face in these pictures. "What is that thing, and why is it on MY mommy's lap?"
Now he looks like he is resigned to his fate, no longer an only child.
Whether or not he's a fan of her, she certainly resembles him. Check it out. This is Ivy.

How sweet - I love the resemblance. :) And you look beautiful in the hospital - you will see some of my pics soon and I did not look like that. :) Anywho, I'm praying for you and your sweet family during this time!
