Thanksgiving

This was our first year celebrating Thanksgiving away from both our families, but we were glad to have good friends to spend it with.  Since so many of us here in Louisville are seminarians, lots of folks don't have family in the area.  Plus, T-giving falls during the week before finals, which makes for a stressful time if you try to travel.  Sooo...lots of our friends were in town!

We had a big dinner, potluck-style- turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, salad, carrot salad, homemade rolls, five kinds of pie, and chocolate chip cookies.  Whew.

Our hostess, Larissa, had the table decorated so festively.

Our 4th married Thanksgiving. :)

What a joy it was to spend some concentrated time with our dear friends.  Lots of good chats and good competition...although it did get a little heated during Catch Phrase. :)
