autumn on crescent hill

This post may be more for my benefit than anyone else's.  I want to remember our life here just like it is right now...a quiet neighborhood painted in the colors of fall.  Silas and I enjoyed yet another leisurely walk last Saturday...a walk we've taken dozens of times.  Hope you enjoy sharing it with us.

Ahhh, what a morning.

Our cute little street, Crescent.

The residential street of Crescent T's into Frankfort, a classy little street with lots of shops and restuarants.  Here is Frankfort from one way...

And Frankfort from the other way.

Blue Dog is a posh (somewhat snooty) cafe and bakery.  It's expensive (which might be why we've only gone once) but in my opinion, the food is worth the money.

And here we have Bella's Bridesmaids.  I love how she's always changing the color scheme in the store front.  And as you can see from the reflection, Baby L is really making his/her presence known to the world.

Porcini, an upscale restaurant with a nice little terrace.

The appropriately Italian horse right outside Porcini.

Lovely.

I really like this fair trade shop.  They carry a lot of the same stuff as Ten Thousand Village.

Enjoying the fresh air.  And his milk.

Crescent Hill Baptist.  Rather imposing, no?

Kennedy Park in all her glory.

Wheeee!
