yard sale finds

I just have to share with you my two favorite yard sale finds of the summer.  First is a vintage camera, probably one that takes awful pictures, but I love the look!  It reminds me of the cameras you might find at Urban Outfitters.

I think I'll be using it as a bookend on our new shelves (more on those later).  But for now, I think it looks really cute on my existing ledge.

Second, here is my new vintage fan.

This reminds me of the blue one John and Sherri have in their nursery.  Oh, have I mentioned them to you yet?  They are the writers of my all-time favorite blog, Young House Love.  You should definitely check it out if you haven't already...not only do they have awesome decorating ideas, but they are also such fun and witty writers!

Anyway, I haven't decided yet whether I should spray paint it a bright and fun color (also not sure how to do that effectively without getting paint on the cord or the silver label) or if I should leave it in its original black.  Any ideas???
