I am constantly amazed at how observant Duncan is with little things. He is forever holding little items and pretending with them...spoons, Q-tips, eardrops, hair ties, combs, play doctor utensils...He has been drinking from a straw for weeks and gives a legitimate nose blow when you give him a tissue. If he finds someone's shirt in the laundry he will work for 10 minutes trying to get it over his head. I have found him dumping all his clean diapers in the diaper pail. He even scribbles on the kids' chalkboard and makes a little smacking sound when pretending to eat play food. Not sure what area of child development this falls under, but it is sure a lot of fun to watch. Here he is determined to give somebody a ponytail.
