settled.

Well, friends, I think that's a record. One whole month without posting. I'm sure Silas and Ivy lost lots of fans. :) We were busy painting and painting and painting in every spare moment...I just didn't feel like the blog could be a priority during this crazy time! Well, as of yesterday we are officially DONE painting. Whew. So now you can expect a return to the regular schedule of posting...at least until baby #3 arrives. :)

After living with the dear Shelleys for 5 weeks, we moved into our house almost 5 weeks ago. And the week before we moved in, we painted EVERYTHING in the house. Ceilings, baseboards, closets, walls. It was a ton of work, but we had a ton of help. And what we didn't get done beforehand we had to slowly plug away at after we moved in, during naps and after bedtime of course.  And now we are finished!

Our house looks fresh and bright! I love it so much! Huge windows in every room let in lots of natural light, which just makes me really happy. We used a light grey in most of the rooms, with some yellow and teal in smaller spaces. We have plenty of furniture...IKEA treated us especially well. Now we are looking just a little bare in the decorating department, but we have lots of time to fix that.
