So you might get bored with the graduation pictures. But I don't really care, because this event NEEDS to be documented. My sweet husband has worked so hard the past 3 years to complete his Masters of Divinity while also being a husband and father. And he was amazing at all three of these roles. It was truly a sweet season for us as a family, which we see as God's miraculous and undeserved grace toward us. But that said, we are very glad to no longer be in "student mode."
I couldn't believe how well the kids did during the long, hot, boring graduation ceremony.
Well, okay...full disclosure: I had lots of help. :)
I actually got a little choked up at this moment. He has worked so hard!
Silas thinks Daddy looks silly. Because he does.
I am so proud of him.
Did I mention how proud I am?
Nathan and Matt.
The happy Smethursts.
Why was Nathan wearing aviators? Because without them you would have seen his nasty swollen eyeball, the result of a terrible infection that eventually took steroids to conquer.
BFFs Ivy and Norah.
Two elated little families.
I love her.
Nathan's pick for lunch: Chuy's. Yum.
