- Ivy seems to have a very different personality from her big brother. She is aggressive, grabby, particular, and pretty emotional. BUT most of the time she is very happy; she is super social and absolutely lights up when anyone pays attention to her. She can be screaming like she's dying, and then when you pick her up you immediately get a huge dimpled smile and even laughing while the tears are still filling her eyes.
- She can sit up by herself, but not well enough for me to leave her alone. She has good balance but will often suddenly stiffen up or dive forward because she's trying to grab something (of course).
- Ivy rolls everywhere as her means of transportation and getting what she wants. The other day when she was hungry, she somehow got around the coffee table to where I was sitting on the couch.
- She loooves being outside, which makes me feel a little guilty for being homebound most days. Anytime we are outside or with a bunch of people, she is super content and could miss a nap without even caring.
- She doesn't say "dada" or "mama" yet but her favorite noises involve lots of spitting and raspberries.
- Ivy laughs a ton. It's really cute.
- The day before her 6 month birthday, she had cereal for the first time. Since then she's tried all kinds of new things but...doesn't like most of them. I hope her appetite and tastes improve as she gets older.
Here is our girl getting her first taste of solid food. Not in a good mood here. :)
Loved that she immediately stopped crying when she realized what was going on. It's still so amazing to me that she is 6 months old and that is her first bite of food. Love to all!
