Gospel-cenetered parenting.

This interview helps to answer a question that has been plaguing me: How can I expect my unsaved kids to "be good"--obey, express sorrow over sin, love one another, etc.? Don't these expectations express a works-oriented gospel, rather than a realistic view of their hopelessness without Christ? I can't wait to read the book. This is one of the most helpful things I have heard on parenting thus far.

    Oh Jess, I listened to this last evening. It is really a fresh perspective and just excellent. I'm glad you guys found it. When I listened I was tempted to be discouraged by all the things I did wrong, but as always the grace of God brings hope rather than condemnation. So I felt encouraged and definitely plan to listen again. . .and again.
