9 months!

Okay, okay...Duncan is actually 10 months now. But I can still record what he was doing at 9 months! At his well check he was 18 lbs 12 oz (23rd percentile) and 28.75 in long (67th percentile). Long and lean. Here are some things he is up to these days...
  • Crawling pretty quickly, since he's been at this for 2 months already.
  • Climbing the stairs every chance he gets (only one fall so far).
  • Pulling up and cruising. (See below.)
  • Walking behind his walker. (See below.)
  • Standing on his own for a second or two at a time.
  • Signing "all done" and waving bye-bye. (See below.)
  • "Talking" on the phone. Or on the remote, whichever is handier. :) It's so cute...he puts it almost behind his head and goes "BAH  BAH BAH." My phone is by far his favorite object. Maybe that is why it keeps breaking on me.
  • NOT eating. Suddenly he is a picky eater. I think Tobago ruined him, since he only ate crackers, cheese and bananas for a whole week.
  • Still nursing 4 times a day, but very distractedly.
  • Still crying when we put him down and when he wakes up. Neither of my other kids did this for so long! I am ready for him to start waking up happy. :(
  • Grinning at perfect strangers, charming everyone.
  • Getting into the toilet paper and the toilet whenever we lose track of him for five minutes.
  • Laughing hysterically at his siblings.
  • Growing hair. Just a little. :)
  • Saying two words! Mama and ba-ba (banana).
We love our sweet boy! He is so expressive, bright, and charming. It's hard to believe he is getting so big!
