Okay, okay...Duncan is actually 10 months now. But I can still record what he was doing at 9 months! At his well check he was 18 lbs 12 oz (23rd percentile) and 28.75 in long (67th percentile). Long and lean. Here are some things he is up to these days...
Crawling pretty quickly, since he's been at this for 2 months already.
Climbing the stairs every chance he gets (only one fall so far).
Pulling up and cruising. (See below.)
Walking behind his walker. (See below.)
Standing on his own for a second or two at a time.
Signing "all done" and waving bye-bye. (See below.)
"Talking" on the phone. Or on the remote, whichever is handier. :) It's so cute...he puts it almost behind his head and goes "BAH BAH BAH." My phone is by far his favorite object. Maybe that is why it keeps breaking on me.
NOT eating. Suddenly he is a picky eater. I think Tobago ruined him, since he only ate crackers, cheese and bananas for a whole week.
Still nursing 4 times a day, but very distractedly.
Still crying when we put him down and when he wakes up. Neither of my other kids did this for so long! I am ready for him to start waking up happy. :(
Grinning at perfect strangers, charming everyone.
Getting into the toilet paper and the toilet whenever we lose track of him for five minutes.
Laughing hysterically at his siblings.
Growing hair. Just a little. :)
Saying two words! Mama and ba-ba (banana).
We love our sweet boy! He is so expressive, bright, and charming. It's hard to believe he is getting so big!
