For Silas's 4th birthday, we decided to spend the day at one of his favorite places with some of his favorite people: The Children's Museum with the Bancroft family (our senior pastor at Castleview). Sadly, Duncan came down with a 103 fever that turned out to be Roseola, so he and I stayed home while Daddy took the older two and met up with Eric and his three boys. I was sad to miss out on the fun but glad it wasn't Silas that had gotten sick!
The Children's Museum is one of MY favorite places...I am so fascinated by everything! So I can't imagine what that feels like for a 4 and 2 year old.

The Bancroft boys are some of the sweetest. They are so patient with our littles. I don't think they quite know what to do with Ivy, since they don't have sisters, but she sure isn't afraid to let them know what she wants. :)
Silas selected a #4 car at the Hot Wheels exhibit. Very appropriate, son.
Jeremiah made Silas a special birthday picture.
Looking at the Fireworks of Glass in the revolving seats.
The birthday lunch. (I sent a cake.)
Kids pretending at the Dinosphere exhibit.
Busy excavating.
We all went to Chick-fil-A that night for dinner with Justin, Sara, and Aunt Lyssy. It was a great day, one that Silas still talks about.
Happy birthday, Silas! We love you so much.

Love seeing these birthday pictures. Thx for posting them, Jess.
