birthday fun

Ivy's birthday fell on a Wednesday, so we decided to take our playgroup with us to the Children's Museum. It worked out great...enough mamas has memberships that everyone got in free! We wound up hanging out as a group of 30 people. The kids totally loved it. Carousel rides, geckos, the beloved Mr. Bear's Playhouse, the Hot Wheels exhibit...and all with some of our favorite people. We sort of went off in groups to visit different exhibits and then met up for lunch and birthday cake.

That night we went to Chick-fil-A with Uncle Justin and Aunt Sara, where the kids feasted on chicken nuggets and fries, followed by present unwrapping and the playplace (of course).

Then, for the weekend we went to Ohio for two purposes: 1) to meet our new brother-in-law, Jazz (Yay! Love him!) and 2) to celebrate Ivy's birthday with all 9 of her grandparents. What a special time it was. Gjysha did a great job planning a Minnie Mouse party, and I think everyone had a really fun time.
