duncan- 5 months (!)

Duncan's 5-month birthday was on Wednesday. Where has the time gone? We never thought we could have a baby as easy as Silas...then Duncan proved us wrong. Here's what he's up to:

• Laughing- In case you haven't noticed from the videos...our baby is a happy one. He has sparkling eyes (like his sister) and a contagious, huge grin that easily erupts into belly laughs and happy squeals if you'll just give him some attention.
• Making friends- We joke that Duncan is a good ego boost for anyone who holds him. This kid will just light up every time and let you know you are the coolest person he has ever laid eyes on. He has never met a stranger.
• Rolling- Back to front, front to back...it's all old hat to him now.
• Push-ups- He likes tummy time now and loves to push himself off the ground with his arms.
• Putting everything in his mouth- EVERYTHING.
• Getting a kick out of his siblings- He has definitely started recognizing and enjoying his two older sibs, much to their delight.
• Jumping- The jumparoo is his favorite thing ever and will occupy him for a good half hour most days.

What is he not up to? Growing hair. He is just as bald as the day he was born. But I think it's kind of cute. :)

Duncan weighs 15lbs 6oz, in the 35th percentile for weight. He is 26 inches long, putting him in the 61st percentile for height. His head is 42cm, 23rd percentile.

I just dropped him to four feedings a couple weeks ago, and it is AWESOME! He sleeps from about 8 to 7. Bless his little heart.
