ivy update

Why the blogging drought? Maybe for the same reason I recently found a sandwich in the toaster oven after the kids went to bed, and it dawned on me that I had completely forgotten to eat lunch that day.

Anyway...

What is Ivy up to these days?

• Army crawling. She likes to explore. She can also get up on her hands and knees but only crawls short distances and is pretty slow. 
• Pulling to stand. Her favorite toy right now is her activity table.
• Eating. A lot. She decided at 7 months that she liked finger food much better than baby food. She still gets cereal at every meal, but she eats most of her food by shoveling it into her mouth. Her favorites? Mac & cheese and ice cream. Proof below.
• Babbling. All the time. Pretty much every consonant. The other night she had us in stitches because she was really mad and kept yelling jibberish at us. Probably not a good thing actually, but very funny.
• Exasperating her brother. You can be sure that no matter what he is playing with, she wants to grab it and eat it.
• Getting into trouble. Yes, the discipline has begun early with this one.
• Laughing. She has an easy belly laugh, and her dimples are killer.
• Crying whenever mommy isn't right next to her. :) Yes, it's a clingy stage...
